There are two factors that have driven me in the 20 years, one is family and the other is a safe home environment. Add that to a love of organizing and project management and you can see why I have chosen to move into a career of Senior Transition. I have always wanted a job that I could use my gifts and leave the job knowing I had helped someone. What a better way to do that, than to help seniors and their families.
Many seniors need to make a move but they don't know where and no one to help.
I understand the issues today that many of us are facing. I went through this with my own parents. I had siblings that could help but not all of us are so lucky. I was sandwiched with elderly parents and young children, my career gave me limited time away from the job topping off with living far away from my family and I just cannot get there to help.
When you do have time you don’t want to be packing or clearing out a house, you want to spend it with your loved ones.
